Designing the West since September 11, 1978, Summit was started in Tom Gallagher’s kitchen and soon moved to their first formal office at 241 Winter Street, Reno, NV.
In The Beginning...
Our services focused solely on civil engineering design and land surveying. By 1982, we opened up our second office, in Elko, Nevada and by 1986 we expanded those services, adding geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and inspection, water rights surveying and photogrammetry.

We serve our clients at every project phase from, permitting, geotechnical investigations, and surveying, to design, civil engineering, construction, materials testing and inspection. Our experts are the driving force to our client's success.
