Brief

Summit Engineering’s planning department was responsible for or assisted with the processing of entitlement applications which allowed for an 861-acre Master Planned Golf Community. The D’Andrea Planned Development is comprised of 2,155 residential units, 21 acres of commercial land use, a 188-acre semiprivate golf course, and 207 acres of common open space. Summit Engineering has provided numerous services associated with the planned development including the preparation and submittal of a master plan, zoning map, and planned development amendment to allow for the development of phase three of the residential portion of the project.

Scope

Summit Engineering prepared and submitted the 580-unit tentative subdivision map associated with phase three, and three separate tentative subdivision maps for the villages of Merano, Novara, and Savona. Summit Engineering also processed a planned development amendment to modify the allowed uses in the commercial portion of the development and most recently prepared and processed a site plan review to allow a substantial addition to the existing clubhouse. Associated with these projects was client and municipal coordination with city staff, the D’Andrea HOA and DRC, Sparks Planning Commission and City Council, and Regional Planning Commission.
