Brief
Starting in 2017, Summit began working on Dotty’s Casinos with SCA Design, it was quickly found after the first project that our two teams were a well-oiled machine, working together and communicating to complete the projects on time and on budget. While most of these projects included building plans that didn’t change much, the sites were all different, and being a full-service engineering firm proved to be very valuable. Summit typically provided civil engineering, surveying, and geotechnical materials testing and inspection services for each project.
Scope
The Jackpot & Hawthorne sites also included design to NDOT Right-of-Ways with the addition of Acceleration and Deceleration lanes with tapers, signage, striping, and lighting plan. Permitting with NDOT, erosion control, and Hydrology design to NDOT Right-of-Way
Each Casino is about 2,500 sq feet with slot machines and minimal food and beverage with a heavy focus on gambling and gaming atmosphere.
