Gymnasium - 2014

Summit Engineering worked on the three stories, 42,000 square foot high school gymnasium, and provided geotechnical services including the project geotechnical report and the environmental site assessment and recommendation.  The construction of the gymnasium spanned three years and Summit Engineering provided materials testing and ICC-1704 special inspections services for structural steel, masonry, concrete, asphalt, structural fill soils, and retaining walls.

Parking Lot Expansion - 2017

This was a 90,000+/- square foot parking lot improvement project, including grading, demolition, and construction of new pavement, drainage, and ADA improvements. Our task was to provide the civil engineering design, hydrology studies, specifications, topographic survey and construction staking, geotechnical investigations, and materials testing for this project. The project was coordinated very efficiently and included submittals, a bid process, and milestone project meetings.

The Eureka High School Gymnasium and Recreation Facility was three stories and 42,000 square feet

Greenhouse - 2021-2022

The Eureka Greenhouse is a vocational training and experiment building within the agriculture department of the Eureka School District. The structure consists of a greenhouse vertical structure within a sublevel flooring to allow planting and soil to be placed to provide a growth medium for plants. We provided initial topo and soil investigation work to help with recommendations for the structural design of the structure and civil design to complete the plans for bidding. Summit will provide construction staking, 1704 special inspection, and material testing once the project is awarded to a contractor.
