Summit Engineering performed all the surveys needed for phases 1 thru 5 for the Great Basin Water project in Spring Creek, Nevada. Our surveyors performed site surveys to include existing locations on the water main, and fire hydrants as well as existing water meter locations, existing fence, existing above-ground, and underground utilities such as fiber optic, gas, electrical, and telephone locations. In addition, ground elevation to tie existing storm drains and roadside drainage channels. Performed construction survey for the project to stake location of new water main, new hydrants, and location for jack & bores under the roadway. We also provided an as-built survey for Great Basin Water to verify quantities and pay requests.
Summit Engineering performed inspection and testing services for the Great Basin Water Project in Spring Creek, Nevada. Duties performed were compaction testing, concrete testing, verification of thrust blocks on all new hydrant’s placement as well as hydrostatic pressure testing on new water mains. In addition, Summit also verifies all jack and bore trenching and casing placement. Verified lineal footage of waterline placement as well as testing of water in new mains for bacteria. We also submitted as-built plans and reports to NDEP for new final review and acceptance.
