Summit Engineering was hired for special inspections and testing, on the majority of the Maverik locations, performing surveying services in Wells, Wendover, and Battle Mountain. Based on our location and the ability to provide both services, along with onsite engineering, we because the preferred choice for all their locations. Due to the fact that we were a local, Nevada-based company provided a cost-effective option for Maverik, a Utah-based company. Summit had also worked with the contractors hired to construct the buildings at each location, communication was streamlined between us and the contractors ensuring that all needs of the client were met.
Summit Engineering has performed geotechnical testing in all locations many times and throughout the areas over the years, allowing for quick and accurate analysis of the sites. While Maverik tends to use 3 to 4 layouts for their buildings, Summit was able to advise construction based on geotechnical investigations, as well as some onsite engineering as well, since our chief inspector is also a licensed Professional Engineer.
